Cave Landing is an ice formation on the coast of Ardery Island in the Windmill Archipelago of East Antarctica . It is not far from the Cave Ravine and offers an accessible landing stage in the Antarctic spring and summer.
Its discoverer in 1961 was the Australian doctor Mervyn Noel Orton (1920-1983), who was working on the Wilkes ward at that time . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the glacier tongue based on the descriptive name of the Cave Ravine.
