The Cavendish Icefalls are a glacier break of the Taylor Glacier in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They are between the Solitary Rocks and the Cavendish Rocks .
The icefalls were named by the Canadian polar explorer Charles Seymour Wright (1887-1975), participant of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913), after the Cavendish Laboratory of the University of Cambridge , where he carried out much of his research.
