Cavino is a winery from Egio in the Peloponnese , which is known for Mavrodaphne wines. With 30  hectares of vineyards, it is one of the larger wineries in the north of the peninsula.

history

Cavino was founded in 1958 by Konstantinos Anastasiou. Until 1986, the products were exclusively exported, since then the wines have also been offered directly on the Greek market. In 1999 Cavino obtained the ISO 9002 and IFS quality certifications . In addition to wines, Cavino also has its own distillery, where the Ouzo Romios is produced, which was awarded 2nd place in the international spirits competition (ISW) in 2007, as well as the organically grown Egiohos wine . The product range includes more than 30 products.
