Cecilia Hansson (born September 11, 1973 in Luleå ) is a Swedish poet .

Life

Cecilia Hansson lives as a writer, translator and freelance writer in Stockholm. She studied German. From 2013 to 2018 she was a board member of the Swedish Writers' Union. She writes regularly for the daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet about Central and Eastern Europe.

In 2002 she made her debut as a poet with the lyrical short story Revbensdagar, morgna . Her fourth collection of poems, Loveprosjekt , was created in collaboration with the Norwegian writer Inger Bråtveit.

In 2017 her interview book Hopplöst, men inte allvarligt - konst och politik i Centraleuropa ( Hopeless, but not serious - art and politics in Central Europe ) was published. Her novel Au pair was published in 2019 .
