Cecily Legler Strong (born February 8, 1984 in Springfield , Illinois ) is an American film actress .
Life
Cecily Strong grew up in Illinois and studied acting at the California Institute of the Arts until 2006 . In the following years she was present in the improv comedy troupe The Second City . She has been part of the team on the NBC comedy show Saturday Night Live since 2012 , and has also appeared in other TV and film productions, such as Ghostbusters (2016) and The Boss (2016).
