The Celebration Pass is a mountain pass with a small pitch, the north of Mount Cyril the Beardmore Glacier to the Hood Glacier connects.
The pass was first celebrated Christmas 1959 by members of the New Zealand Alpine Club Antarctic Expedition (1959-1960) and named after the festivities that took place on that day .
