Cem Gülay

Cem Gülay (* 1970 in Hamburg ) is co-author of the 2009 book Türken-Sam .

Gülay grew up as the son of Turkish parents in Hamburg . He attended high school and eventually became head boy. After graduating from high school in 1991, he planned to study, but entered a petty criminal milieu in the migrant environment. He only managed to get out in 2001. Since then he has been committed to the integration of young people with a migration background.

Gülay's autobiographical book Türken-Sam attracted attention in Germany in 2009 . Gülays biography was also repeatedly topic in the ZDF - Forum on Friday .

Gülay lives in Berlin today .
