Cem Sultan Ungan

Cem Sultan Ungan (* 1967 in Eskişehir , Turkey ) is a German film and theater actor of Turkish origin. In the theater sector he is also active as a director and author.

Ungan has lived in Germany since he was fifteen, initially in Berlin. After his formal training he had from 1985 engagement at the Theater Tiyatrom , City Theater Duisburg , Deutsches Theater , Schauspielhaus Leipzig and the Berlin State Opera . At the Shakespeare Company Berlin he worked with a. a. Thomas Ostermeier and Doris Dörrie together.

At Hebbel am Ufer , Ungan himself staged the play The Mehmet Show (2007), which he wrote together with Tuncay Gary and which also saw performances at other venues.

In addition to his theater work, Ungan has had numerous roles in cinema and television films.
