The Central United Football United is a New Zealand football club from Auckland , the current in the regional Region Football League Northern plays. Since the late 1990s, the club has been one of the most successful clubs in New Zealand and has won the National Soccer League twice and the Chatham Cup four times .

history

The association was founded in 1962 by a group of Croatian immigrants under the name Central . First they played in the lower leagues of the Northern League, in 1996 the club was renamed Central United. In 1997, the first title followed by winning the New Zealand Cup competition. The first championship title was won in 1999. Further titles followed with winning the championship in 2001 and cup victories in 1998, 2005 and 2007.
