The Center de Formation des Banques Cantonales Latines was founded in 1975 as a simple company in Lausanne , where it is still based today. Today this community of interests includes the following eight partner banks : Geneva Cantonal Bank , Bern Cantonal Bank , Freiburg Cantonal Bank , Neuchâtel Cantonal Bank , Ticino Cantonal Bank , Walliser Cantonal Bank , Jurassic Cantonal Bank and Vaudois Cantonal Bank .

Course offer

The aim of the BCL training center is to determine the training needs of the member banks and to meet their specific needs with jointly organized courses and seminars . The range of courses includes the following areas: professional training, office and banking IT, communication and development of personal performance, leadership and management skills, distance training and the evaluation of middle management potential in group assessment .

Cooperation between the cantonal banks

The BCL training center promotes cooperation between the cantonal banks . It also serves as a discussion forum and platform for the exchange of experiences between the employees of the individual partner banks. In 2010 the BCL training center registered 2,925 registrations. This corresponds to 4,135 person days.
