Centropleura Spur is a mountain ridge in Victoria Land, East Antarctica . In the Bowers Mountains , he stands out as southwestern extension of a massif and surrounding 5km north-east of Mount Jamroga at the head of Carryer Glacier a mountain basin .
In the years from 1974 to 1975 and from 1981 to 1982 scientists discovered Cambrian fossils of trilobites of the genus Centropleura in the sediments of this formation , which gave the mountain ridge its name.
