The Center for Gay History eV (CSG) is an archive and research center for the gay movement based in Cologne.

The CSG emerged in 1984 from two forerunner associations: on the one hand from the association for research into the history of homosexuals in NRW eV with its collections on gay life in and around Cologne, which was renamed the Rheinisches Schwulenarchiv , on the other hand from the gay history working group with his scientific research and publications in which the questioning of contemporary witnesses played a major role. The CSG continues both areas of activity.

The association's work mainly includes archiving documents related to the history of homosexual men in the Rhineland. It also organizes exhibitions, lectures and other educational events. It has also published books and brochures and is involved in the magazine Invertito, the yearbook for the history of homosexualities .
