Cerin Hong
Cerin Hong , actually Ce-Rin Hong , (born September 15, 1975 in Recklinghausen ) is a German director of Korean descent.
As a child of Korean emigrants, she graduated from high school in Cologne in 1995 and worked for VIVA Zwei from 1996 to 2000 , staging several music videos (e.g. for the rock group Oomph! ) And working as an assistant director in Cologne, London and the USA . From 1997 to 1998 she supported the work of the Export Union - today German Films Service + Marketing GmbH. From 1999 to 2005 she studied film and television directing at the Cologne Academy of Media Arts . One focus of her work is dealing with ethnic backgrounds and immigration policy. Cerin Hong lives in Berlin and Cologne.
