The Cerro Parmenio is a hill on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises between Playa Cachorros and Playa Maderas on the east side of Cape Shirreff at the northern end of the John Paul II Peninsula .

Chilean scientists named him after the Chilean marine biologist Parmenio Yáñez Andrade (1902-1977), participant in the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946-1947), who was also involved in the planning of the seal count on the 20th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1965-1966) .
