The Playa Cachorros ( Spanish for (Lake) dog beach ) is a beach in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the east side of Cape Shirreff on the northern foothills of the John Paul II Peninsula, it is located on the southeast bank of the Bahía Mansa between Punta Cachorros in the west and Punta Lobos in the east.
Scientists from the 45th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1990–1991) named him.
