Punta Cachorros ( Spanish for (sea) dog tip ) is a headland in the north of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the east side of Cape Shirreff , the northern branch of the John Paul II Peninsula , it is located on the south bank of the Bahía Mansa and separates Playa Chungungo in the east from Playa Cachorros in the east.
Scientists from the 45th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1990–1991) named it.
