The Bahía Mansa (from Spanish manso , 'gentle' ) is a 180 m wide bay on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between the Punta Delfin and the Punta Lobos on the east side of Cape Shirreff , the northern extension of the John Paul II Peninsula .
Scientists of the 39th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1984–1985) named it after the sea state that was virtually non-existent here .
