The Cessna DC-6 was a four-seat touring aircraft developed by the Cessna Aircraft Company in the 1920s .
history
The single-engine shoulder -wing aircraft was produced in various versions for general aviation and for the United States Army as UC-77 or UC-77A.
The DC-6 was a stripped-down four-seat version of the six-seat Cessna CW-6 . Production began in February 1929 with two versions, the DC-6A and DC-6B. Both versions were approved by the FAA in September 1929. A total of around 40 copies were made. Some aircraft were taken over by the USAAC in 1942.

- The designations UC-77B, UC-77C and UC-77D were not a Cessna DC-6, they were used for other Cessna models.
