Château de Bossey
The Château de Bossey is a castle in Bogis-Bossey in the Nyon district of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland .
The castle was built in 1722 under the Turrettini patrician family from Geneva . It changed hands frequently and has belonged to the World Council of Churches since 1946 , which established the Bossey Ecumenical Institute in it. In 1962, a new building with conference and classrooms was built in the park, which also houses the library of the World Council of Churches. Since 2002, external groups of visitors can also use the Château as a conference and conference center.
