Chönix
As a measure of volume, Chönix was a measure of antiquity and was different in different cultures. One generally understood this measure to be an ordinary amount of grain for a person's daily diet.
- Greeks 1 Chönix = 4 Kotylä / Kotule = 1/48 Medimnos (1 Medimno = 52.8 liters) = 1.1 liters
- Romans 1 Chönix = 2 sextarii
- 1 chönix = 180 drachmas
