The Khüiten Peak ( Mongolian Хүйтний оргил "Cold Summit"; Chinese 友誼峰 , Pinyin Yǒuyì Feng ) located in the southern Altai Mountains and is at a height of 4374 m (previous altitude: 4356 m ) the highest mountain in Mongolia .
It stands in the far west of the country on the border with China . Together with four other peaks, it forms the Tawan Bogd group ("five saints"), including the Tawan Bogd Uul , which marks the triangle between Mongolia, Russia and China about 2.5 km further north .
