Chadormalu ( Persian چادرملو Chadormalu ) is an iron ore mine in Yazd Province in central Iran with a settlement for the staff owned by the Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company .

The mine is located in an otherwise uninhabited part of the central Iranian desert Dascht-e Kawir 180 km northeast of Yazd, about 40 km from the Yazd - Tabas road.

The ore deposits at Chadormalu were discovered in 1940. Construction of the mine began in 1994. Production began in 1999. In the same year the plant was connected to the Iranian rail network by a line to Meybod .
