Chaemwaset (also Cha-em-Waset ) was a son of Ramses III. and possibly the third oldest. He bore the title of " Sem-Priest of Ptah " and appears in the prince procession of Medinet Habu in eighth place. The sarcophagus in his tomb QV44 in the Valley of the Queens bears an inscription that dates from the reign of Ramses IV . The mummy of Chaemwaset has not yet been found, but the careful design of his completed grave does not indicate an early death. He only bears the titles "Eldest King's Son" and "First King's Son", which also appear with some of his brothers, in QV44, and there they only seem to be of religious significance. Other well-known titles are "Lord of the life of both countries" and " Frond bearer to the right of the king ".
