Chambre introuvable

Chambre introuvable (French, untraceable chamber , should mean: as it is not so easily found again) was the name of the second chamber, which met in France from 1815 to 1816 .

It was distinguished by its unconditional docility to the first reactionary Ministry of Restoration . The name was given to her by Louis XVIII. given out of gratitude soon after moving into Paris. Élie, Duke of Decazes and Glücksberg persuaded Louis XVIII. however, to dissolve this chamber again.

Later, however, the name became a mock name for every chamber that emerged through ultra-royalist endeavors.
