Chung Chang-ho

Chung Chang-ho ( kor. 정창호 ; born February 17, 1967 ) is a South Korean lawyer and judge at the International Criminal Court .

From 1985 Chung studied law at the University of Seoul , where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in 1989 and his Master of Laws in 1991 . At the same time he was admitted to the South Korean bar. He then went through additional training as a judge in South Korea, which he completed in 1993. Subsequently he worked as a judge at the court martial of the South Korean Air Force until 1996 . In 1996 he joined a district court judge before becoming a judge at the South Korean Supreme Court in 2004. From 2008 to 2010 he served as South Korean envoy to various international commissions, including UNCITRAL .

From 2011 to 2015, Chung was a judge at the United Nations Khmer Rouge Tribunal in Cambodia. He has been a judge at the International Criminal Court since March 11, 2015 . His term of office is expected to last until 2024.

Chung is married and has two children.
