The Changing Lake (English for Wandel Sea is) a lake on Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is the middle of the three lakes in the Paternoster Valley in the northeast of the island.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it that way in 1974 because the shape and size of the lake gradually changed as the ice sheets on Signy Island retreated.
