The Channel Rock (from English channel 'Kanal, Fahrrinne' ) is a rocky island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is the larger of two rocks to the north of McFarlane Strait and is 800 m south of the Meade Islands .
Scientists from the UK Discovery Investigations mapped and named it in 1935.
