Chaqueño Palavecino , actually Oscar Palavecino (born December 18, 1959 in Rivadavia, Province of Salta, Argentina ) is a folk singer who is especially popular in Latin America and especially in Argentina.

Although he dedicated himself to music during his childhood, he mainly worked as a bus driver until 1993. His musical style quickly made him one of the most successful folk artists in his country. He has already produced 14 albums and toured mainly in the interior of Argentina.
