The Char de Dépannage DNG / DCL ( D épanneur N ouvelle G énération / D épanneur C har L eclerc ) is an armored recovery vehicle of the French army from French production. The vehicle is based on the chassis of the Leclerc tank .
The armored recovery vehicle is produced by GIAT . The vehicle is used by France (approx. 30 units) and the United Arab Emirates (46 units); both countries also use the French Leclerc battle tank .
