The Charco da Madeira is a pond in Portugal on the Azores island of São Miguel in the Ponta Delgada district . The water is in the center of the island on the ER4 road between Fajã de Cima and Capelas . It has an area of about 1.2 hectares and is located at an altitude of about 200 m above sea level.
