Charles Crewe

Charles Crewe (* 1710 ; † unknown) was a British politician.

Life

Charles Crewe was the second eldest son of John Crewe and his wife Sarah (nee Price). He had three brothers, including John Crewe , and three sisters. Crewe attended Hart Hall in Oxford . He married Sarah Burn, the only daughter of John Burn. The marriage resulted in two daughters.

After the death of his older brother John, Crewe took over his vacant seat in the House of Commons on February 7, 1753 and represented the constituency of Cheshire. In 1754 he decided not to run again and left the House of Commons. Her father had already represented this constituency in the House of Commons.
