Charles Paul Greenway, 3rd Baron Greenway (born January 31, 1917 - September 14, 1975 ) was a British peer and politician .

life and career

Greenway was born in January 1917 to Charles Greenway, 2nd Baron Greenway , and Eileen Brooking. He usually used his middle first name, Paul. He attended Winchester College and graduated from Trinity College in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts and in 1942 with a Master of Arts .

During World War II he did his military service and initially served at The Buffs , where he became second lieutenant . He was wounded during the war. He became a major in the Parachute Regiment . In April 1963 he inherited the title of Baron Greenway after the death of his father, as well as the then associated seat in the House of Lords .

On December 22, 1939, he married Cornelia Stephen (1918-2010). Together they had three sons, including the heir to the title Ambrose Greenway . Greenway died in September 1975 at the age of 58.
