Charles Grenzbach
Charles Grenzbach (born December 29, 1923 in New York City , † March 29, 2004 in Palm Desert ) was an American sound engineer . He won an Academy Award for Best Sound in 1987 for the film Platoon (1986) and was nominated twice in the same category. Between 1956 and 1989 Grenzbach worked on over 130 films.
