Charles Kurzman

Charles Kurzman (born November 6, 1963 ) is a professor of sociology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , who conducts research on the Middle East and Islamic studies.

Training and employment

After graduating from Harvard University with his Bachelor of Arts in 1986 , he went to the University of California, Berkeley . There he passed his Master of Arts in 1992 and completed his dissertation in 1997. He has been with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill since 1998 .
