Charles Lichtenthaeler

Charles Lichtenthaeler (born August 31, 1915 in Lausanne ; † May 18, 1993 in Hamburg ) was a Swiss doctor and medical historian who was the first professor of medical history at the University of Hamburg from 1963 to 1983 .

His main areas of work were ancient medicine, especially the Corpus Hippocraticum , and medical theory .
