Charles Sevin de Quincy

Charles Sevin de Quincy (born 1660 ; died 1728 in Paris ), the Marquis de Quincy, was a French artillery general and military writer .

He stood out especially in Höchstädt in 1704. In 1707 he commanded the army's artillery and was appointed governor of the Auvergne after the Peace of Utrecht . He married Geneviève Pecquot de Saint-Maurice, who gave birth to a daughter.
