Charlotte Dipanda (* 1985 in Yaoundé , Cameroon ) is a Cameroonian Afropop singer. She mainly produces acoustic music and sings in French ; their mother tongues are Bakaka and Douala .

Dipanda recorded her first album in 2002 with guitarist Jeannot Hens . She was discovered by the musician Lokua Kanza during an open mic session in a club in Yaoundé. She moved to France and worked a. a. with Papa Wemba . Dipanda sang the background vocals for a number of musicians such as singer Axelle Red , vibraphone player Manu Dibango and singer Rokia Traoré .

Charlotte Dipanda became best known in Europe, where she also played most of the concerts. However, she also played in the Palais des sports in Yaoundé. Mispa , her first solo album, was released in 2008. In 2014, Massa was released .
