Charlotte Gnändiger

Charlotte Gnändiger (born October 23, 1979 ) is a German television presenter , journalist , editor and author .

Life

Gnändiger studied journalism and political science at the University of Dortmund and graduated with a diploma. When West German Radio in Cologne she made from 2001 to 2002, a radio and television internship. From 2002 to 2008 she worked as a freelance journalist for the ARD-Morgenmagazin , since 2008 as an editor and reporter for the WDR, among other things for the programs Tag 7 , Hier und heute , real and Schorn and Heinrich . In 2011 she received the Radio, TV and New Media Prize for working on the program Die Lange-Obama-Nacht - Halftime for the President.

Her diploma thesis from 2005 is entitled Politicians in German Print Media: Prejudices and Stereotypes in Reporting .

Gnändiger works alongside her work for the WDR as a freelance journalist for the Weser-Kurier and the Berliner Zeitung, among others . Since 2014 she has moderated the sports section in the ARD morning magazine. The focus of her work is on the subject of football and she is a supporter of the Werder Bremen club . Gnändiger lives in Cologne .
