The Chartjackers was a British music project dating back to 2009.
Project
In the project funded by the BBC youth program Switch, four vloggers were given the task of using a YouTube channel with the help of Internet participants to complete a single within 10 weeks, from writing the song to selecting the musicians and completing the recording to produce. Three months after the start on September 12, 2009, the single I've Got Nothing was released. Although they did not achieve the ambitious goal of a number 1 placement, the Chartjackers sold a little more than 8,000 copies and came in just under the top 40 of the British charts. The proceeds from iTunes sales were donated to the Children in Need charity.
