Chelinda is the name of a village and a mountain on the Nyika plateau in Malawi at an altitude of around 2380 meters. The Nyika plateau is designated as a nature park. The place Chelinda is located in the center of the park and offers several lodges of different categories and a campsite. It can be reached by car or a small plane. The airport has a runway that is almost 1300 meters long and has the IATA airport code CEH and ICAO code FWCD ( ).

In the forest plantation Pine Plantation Chilinda intensive forestry is practiced, it is the only forest far and wide and covers the top of the mountain. There are three small reservoirs near the village ( , , ).
