Chen Yan (poet)
Chen Yan ( Chinese 陳 衍 / 陈 衍 , Pinyin Chén Yǎn , W.-G. Ch'en Yen ; born 1856 ; died 1937 ), hao : Shiyi石 遺, was a Chinese scholar and poet. Chen Yan is associated with the reforms of 1898 and the Tongguang style in poetry. The best known is his work Shangshu juyao尚书 举 要 about the Shangshu尚书.
