Cherrie Vangelder-Smith (actually Hetty Smit , * 1950 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch singer .
biography
In 1972 Vangelder-Smith was a member of the band "Cardinal Point". A year later she switched to the formation "Album", 1974 to "Mailbag" and finally, in 1975, to "Cherie". During those years she also published several, written by her then partner Jaques Zwart and produced solo titles, including Goodbye (Guitarman) , with the Vangelder-Smith in October 1973 in the ZDF - music show disco occurred and silverboy , the 1974 16th Dutch Charts reached. After the 1980s single Sitting in the Cafereceived no attention, she sang in 1981 in the "Heavy Smith Band", whose song Life of a Fool flopped. There were no later publications.
