Chesini is an Italian bicycle manufacturer from Verona .

Gelmino Chesini built his first bicycle in 1925. The first model was a racing bike called Chesini Biciprecision . It was built in a workshop in Nesente, a district on the northeastern outskirts of Verona .

After the Second World War, the company prospered: In 1947 Gelmino Chesini took over the Cicli Valetti bicycle factory and moved to the current headquarters of Chesini Bikes in Via San Paolo in Verona. In addition, Chesini also offered customer service for Singer sewing machines . Today the founder's son, Gabriele Chesini, runs the company.

The 1963 UCI Road World Championships won Flaviano Vincentini on a Chesini wheel the Amateur - Individual competition . In 1964 and 1965 , the Italian amateur national team equipped by Chesini won the team time trial .

From the beginning to the end of the 1980s, Chesini mainly built racing bikes and used, among other things, Columbus SL tube and Campagnolo dropouts .

Today, apart from the Chesini bicycle shop in Verona, Chesini bikes are sold in Germany and Japan.
