Fountain at the milk market
The fountain at the milk market , formerly Mühlmarkt, in Schwäbisch Hall dates from the 18th century.
description
The fountain, dated 1756, has an octagonal trough made of cast iron , which is decorated with ornaments and coats of arms. The fountain column made of Treuchtlinger marble carries a vase from the 20th century. After being damaged in 2012, the fountain column had to be restored.
Eugen Gradmann described a fountain on the milk market that was renewed in 1515 as no longer preserved. This well renovation in the 16th century was probably the work of Konrad Schaller .
