Chester William Harrison
Chester William Harrison (born July 14, 1913 in Trafalgar , Indiana , † January 6, 1994 ) was an American writer and photographer. He is considered a prolific writer .
Live and act
Harrison was the son of Frederick Harrison (1885–1963) and his wife Anna Elizabeth Taylor (1888–1972). After finishing school, Harrison found a job as a photographer in his hometown.
Stimulated by his acquaintance with the writer Luke Short , he also tried to gain a foothold as a writer. In 1936 he made his successful debut with the publication of his short story Boothill Traill in Collier's Weekly magazine , but it was not until after the end of World War II that he experienced his literary breakthrough. In addition to his own name, Harrison et al. a. the pseudonyms C. W. Harrison , Coe Williams, and Will Hickok .
