Chevra Bikur Cholim Synagogue
The Chevra Bikur Cholim Synagogue in the Slovak town of Bardejov was built in 1929 by the Jewish charity Association for Visiting the Sick (Chevra Bikur Cholim) . The interior is almost completely preserved and thus shows one of the few authentic interiors of a synagogue in Slovakia. The building can be visited by arrangement.

The synagogue is located in the historic old town of Bardejov. The east facade faces the street. An inscription in Hebrew with the name of the community is located between two high pointed arched windows . The front door is to the right of these windows; above it is another smaller pointed arch window.
From the entrance, a long corridor leads to the doors of the main hall (the men's prayer room), a back room that was used as a study, an entrance to the backyard and a staircase to the women's gallery.
Due to the long and narrow floor plan, the women's gallery is only available on the west side. The bima is in the center of the main hall and the Torah shrine between the two large windows on the east side. The walls are decorated with decorative murals.
