Chezka Luy Centeno (born June 30, 1999 ) is a Filipino pool player from Zamboanga City .

Career

Chezka Centeno started playing billiards at the age of five . At the age of eleven, she finished third in the Philippine National Games. In 2011 she made it to the round of 32 at the Kremlin Cup . In August 2012, she took part in the women's 10-ball world championship for the first time , where she also reached the round of 32. In 2014, she won the final 6-0 against the Taiwanese Wang Wan-lin Junior Asian Champion. At the Junior World Championship in 2014 , she reached the quarterfinals.

In April 2015 she finished 17th in the Amway eSpring International 9-Ball Championship . In June 2015, she won the gold medal in the women's 9-ball singles at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore by beating Rubilen Amit 7-5 in the final . At 15, she is the youngest ever gold medalist in billiards at the Southeast Asian Games. At the 2015 Asian Cup , she took third place in the junior women’s competition. In November 2015 she reached the round of 16 at the 9-Ball World Cup and was only just eliminated 8: 9 against the Austrian Jasmin Ouschan . A month later, Centeno became Junior World Champion with a 9-3 final win over the Chinese Xia Yuying .

In June 2016, Centeno made it to the finals of the Amway eSpring International 9-Ball Championship . In the final she defeated the Englishwoman Kelly Fisher after a 1: 5 deficit with 11: 8 and thus won the tournament as the youngest player to date.
