Chilham is a village and civil parish in Kent in south east England .
The village with small cottages , half-timbered houses and a small village green is just 10 km south of Canterbury . The landscaped park of Chilham Castle was 1777 by Lancelot "Capability" Brown created.
At Chilham is Julliberrie's Grave , a Long Barrow , a mound of earth typical of eastern England .
In Chilham there was a branch of the Bunce Court School from neighboring Otterden between the second half of 1939 and March 1940 .
