Chilton Post Office (2006)

The Chilton Post Office is a historic post office building in Chilton , in Calumet County , in the US state of Wisconsin , in the United States . The Colonial Revival- style building is located on East Main Street at number 57.

Established in 1940, the Chilton Post Office was listed on October 24, 2000 by the National Register of Historic Places as a Historic Monument with the number 00001249.

The foundation of the building is made of concrete , the walls are made of brick , and the roof is made of metal .

As part of the Post Office New Deal Artwork , the post office mural Threshing Barley (1940) by Charles W. Thwaites is on display.
