The China Guodian Corporation ( Chinese 中国 国电集团 公司 , Pinyin Zhōngguó Guódiàn Jítuán Gōngsī ) was one of the largest Chinese electricity suppliers. It has an installed capacity of 122 GW (for comparison RWE : around 25 GW). The wind turbine operator Longyuan Power and the manufacturer Guodian United Power also belonged to Guodian . Initially, wind turbines were manufactured according to aerodyn Energiesysteme's designs .
Several subsidiaries were listed on the stock exchange.
In 2017 the company merged with the Shenhua Group to form China Energy Investment .
